I think that puzzle is the  best one there because it gives nice practice in a very important area: kids need to know, not only that 5 × 8 is 40 and 7 × 8 is 56, but what all possibilities there are to have (number) × (number)  = 36 or (number) × (number) = 20; in other words they need to easily be able to tell the factors of a given (small) number.
